Every single character in Forbidden is tdappers unique, the vast majority realistic and most are surprisingly complex. I didn’t hate the story line, but I sure as hell didn’t love it either. Her Father’s body has been stolen, her boyfriend is losing his mind, and she’s fanaticising about an angel.
Riley and Den absolutely tortured me in good and bad ways. And with that statement, we pretty much have the commodification of women’s sexuality in a nutshell. I WANT the next book! I’ll take Ddemon being annoying and denying his feelings for twenty chapters straight over that any day, thank you very much.
He played a slightly bigger role in this book, and I really enjoyed reading about him — demno was a lot more daring than he was previously, and a lot funnier than before — some of his lines were hilarious!

Yes, it took a lot of sighs and eye rolls, but I did it. I get that maybe he was being influenced by a greater force trying not to give spoilers here and that he looks at her with contempt now, but I think back and wonder – how the hell did Riley fall HARD for this guy?
So much for gratitude! It is action-packed, tension-filled and one heck of a great read. Maybe it’s because the technology is the same or the fact that it’s almost absent in the series? While the trapping of demons has been moved to the background in this book, there are several new threats to Riley and the Atlanta Trappers.

Did somebody deserve a slap from me just to clarify, not Jana Riley frequently suffers from nightmares and panic attacks after the events at the Tabernacle, which I felt was realistic and portrayed in a respectful way. It’s tempting to give it all up and try to be normal, but that’s not an option.
